Overlord – My Review!!

The story begins with Yggdrasil, a popular online game which is quietly shut down one day; however, the protagonist Momonga decides to not log out. Momonga is then transformed into the image of a skeleton as “the most powerful wizard.” The world continues to change, with non-player characters (NPCs) beginning to feel emotion. Having no parents, friends, or place in society, this ordinary young man Momonga then strives to take over the new world the game has become.

The anime Overlord came out in 2015, and when I started watching it I quickly fell in love and it also has a great anime opening, it also is more of an edgy anime! This anime is kind of like Sword Art Online,Ā  but it’s from the other side. Momonga wants to rule over the land with his power, kind of like an anti-hero. This is one of those anime where they have a very OP main character, but he had been done right.

This show is very funny, it has a lot of great humour and funny moments throughout the episodes. Momonga has the ability to change NPCs characteristics to whatever he pleases, so he decideds to rewrite one of his top servants to be in love with him, but he can’t feel anything besides a neutral emotion and if he does start to feel something the game force resets back to his normal emotion.

Like I said before, this anime is kind of edgy. It’s not affraid of cursing, have women show of there large breasts and butts and they act overly sexual towards Momonga. There is a scene where as a punishment, one of his female floor guardians is to be humliated by being used as a human chair and she starts getting off to it!

This anime I would highly recommened. The story is great and very funny, all the fight scenes are amazing and it is overall a good anime.

Thank you so much for reading my review, I hope you enoyed and as always, have a great day!

My question this week is, what anime are you watching lately and tell me about it!
