Goals of 2018 Recap & New goals for 2019 πŸ₯‚

Heey ! bookending winter

We are already at that point ; Going over which goals/resolutions worked in 2018 and give us new goals/resolutions for the next year to come!

If you recall, I had actually done a 2018’s goal post before; feel free to go and remind yourself of what I had said on that one. It was made waaay back when I’ve started this blog, so I don’t expect we are all remembering it right now, ahah !

What this current year’s goals was;

2018’s Goals
√ 12 books read for Goodreads & #BeatTheBacklist
√ Post review of “In a dark dark wood” by end of January
√ Try atleast one more book version (ebook/audio..)
√ Keep my blog active
√ Keep the habit of planner & bullet journaling
√ Keep interacting with book people (WP & Tumblr)
√ Find my inspiration for posts
√ Read more before bed
√ Bloghopping
☐ Pass my driver’s liscence

As you can see, I accomplished almost all the goals I had gave myself ! The only thing I couldn’t do is go for my driver liscence … but honestly it’s not because I didn’t wanted to … but all the money I had that could’ve had gone for that purpose went into my vet’s pocket instead πŸ˜‚Β So eh, This shall get postponed to next year.

I’ve definately went ahead of my 12 books I had in mind for my goodreads challenge, however I kinda dropped the towel for #BeatTheBacklist ..which ain’t that big of a deal. I haven’t explored the audiobook highway yet but I am surely more into ebooks, ending up reading more of thoses than my paperbacks in my shelves.

Other than that .. I ended up dropping my planner along the way but I sure am more dedicated to my bullet ! I also need to be more present on booklr, though with the polymic of “No more NSFW on tumblr” since December 17th … idk how it will evolve with that, as I know some people went into full on protest and not going on that site anymore unless they fix themselves.

New goals for 2019! ;

2019’s Goals & Resolutions
☐ Pass my driver’s liscence (postponed from 2018)
☐ Read more often during daytime
☐ Have my passport done/travel atleast once
☐ Read 15 books in 2019
☐ Wake up at reasonnable hour (9 or 10 am)

I certainly has way less stuff on my list, as most of what was there last year was blog related and how to keep my habits going and etc. I redid another shelf, now on the same page, for me to fill up which books I did read within the next year; though it kind of bothers me how I still have a few months in that one before I switch BuJo… but again I didn’t wanted to do it in a completely blank BuJo because well, I can still use that one !!πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈΒ We’ll just see how that goes ..

Iknow i’ve read 20+ books this year, but I slowly rose from 12 to 15 books for 2019 because I didn’t wanted to up the number too much and then not being able to do it and make myself sad over it xD so let’s take it slowly, shall we. Still book related, I kinda wanna make more time in my day to read, as I only read night-time and while it’s really nice and peaceful.. that’s a dangerous game and you may not get to read that much! Obviously we need to stop at some point before 5am hits … *aherm*

Of course, Alex loves travelling and stuff – While I never even left our country xD So I was kinda hoping to go with him at some time … but for that, I need a passport !! So that’d be a good start aahah

** Oh ! and I have also forgotten a No.6; Which is re-doing my microdermal at some point in the next year. You know how much I loved it !

And that was my goals’ progress and new goals !!
What is some of yours ?

    You managed to do all of your goals last year except one and I think that is great news! Congratulations. I hope you will be able to do your 2019 list of goals just as well too ^.^

  3. Awesome that you hit nearly all your goals for 2018! I hope your 2019 goals get met too! I’m actually DROPPING my Goodreads reading challenge number so that I don’t stress myself out. One of my goals I want to hit this coming year is to finish another first draft of a WIP and hit a second draft, at least, of the children’s story I managed to write!

    I also failed to get my driver’s license this year πŸ˜… but more because I haven’t had time to practice, being away at school. good call on the goodreads challenge – I’ve been doing about 200 per year (a lot of staying up to read and reading between classes/during my commutes) but my initial 2019 goal is either gonna be 100 or 150 because my year’s gonna be busy! anyway, I hope you get to travel somewhere awesome πŸ˜„
