Blog Tour|| The Blood Prince ~ Josie Jaffrey ☆ Review

** Disclaimer: I have received a copy of this book from the author for review purpose. This has in no way, shape or form affected my opinion on it **

The Blood Prince is the third and last tome in Josie Jaffrey’s «Sovereign» serie. “The Gilded King” and “The Silver Queen” has been reviewed on here before, and you should know how I absolutely love them!! So it was a real pleasure for me to take part in this blog tour, aswell as being given and reviewed each of the books in this serie xx

"Micro Brews"

Micro Brew ; Favorite(s) Underrated

Heey !

So as sadly the first prompt wasn’t giving me much to answer personally, we shall hop on today for the second prompt of Micro Brew Favorites (February 18th) – Talk about your favorite underrated or lesser known book. A book you never see anyone talk about or you think has fallen to the wind. One that you just keep recommending and no one ever follows through reading.

What’s Micro Brew?;
This was created by my friend Melanie / The Library of Mars. We would do this on Tumblr, back when that was my only reviewing platform. I’ve been wanting to do something more on my blog because my reviews are as unpredictable as my reading habits. I thought this would be a fun way to promote something that you love. It’s also been re-branded from “Micro Review” to “Micro Brew” because of some confusion and to fit with my blogs overall theme.I will be posting the prompts on the first day of the month and answering them on the first and third Mondays of the month (anytime in between will be good times to post as well).

Reasons to Stay Alive ~ Matt Haig ☆ Review

I’ve been following Matt Haig‘s twitter even before that I’ve had realized that he was a writer; I think one of my friends over there shared one of his tweet and I just falled in love. Everything he said about anxiety & depression was pinpoint and I was loving them!

Later, I found out that he had wrote this book and how it helped so much people in their rock-bottom. I then went on a quest to find it, I just NEEDED that book. It took me a while, but I finally found it and it had been sitting on my shelves since.

I was actually in the middle of reading something else when I just got the urge to pick this book up and finally read it, for some reason. This is the first non-fiction novel i’m reading, besides the few anthrologies of Ghost stories.

Both of my dogs, Kafei and Sheik, has been the reason why I stayed alive upon reaching my own rock-bottom.

Books i’ve picked up because of my Mental Health

When picking up a book, we usually enjoy seeing the characters being in the same shoes as we are, or so we can relate to that character in a way or another.

For many of us, this means finding books that have a rep for whichever mental illnesses we may have; which was my case ! In case you were wondering, mines are all around Anxiety and Depression. Both of which I have been profesionally diagnosed with.

Seven Deadly Sins ☆ Review

Say what?

An anime review that isn’t by Alex?  yep ! 😘
Of course, he has done his reviews on this one too; which you can go ahead and read it aswell. Unlike him however, I watched the dubbed and not the subbed version that’s available on netflix (I just prefer it that way, I find that they sound wierd.. 🙊)

** Also note that i’ve only watched the episodes that was available on Netflix, so up to Ep.4 of Season 2. (Starting season 3)
